Brian Booth
Assistant Coach

Brian Booth is entering his seventh season at Swarthmore in 2021. He works primarily with hitters and catchers and serves as the Garnet third-base coach. Booth was put in charge of the offense prior to the 2018 season, during which the team posted a .339 batting average against Centennial Conference opponents en route to its first Centennial Conference title and first College World Series appearance. In 2019, the team improved offensively and finished the campaign with the highest batting average in Division III (.351). In total, Booth has coached Swarthmore hitters who have totaled 11 all-conference seasons, eight ABCA all-region honors, two All-American awards, the Philadelphia Baseball Review's 2019 D-III Offensive Player of the Year award and the 2022 Conference Player of the Year.

Before arriving at Swarthmore, Booth spent three years at West Chester East High School as the hitting, catching and infield coach. He got his start in coaching at his alma mater, Malvern Prep, in 2012.

Booth graduated from Millersville University in 2008 with a degree in Marketing. He was a three-year starting catcher for the Marauders. Booth began his collegiate career at LaSalle University in 2003.
