Clothier Baseball Field

The 2018 Swarthmore College Baseball season opened at home on Feb. 27 and fans were able to experience for the first time one of the coolest ballparks in college baseball.

The New PPR residence hall, which features suite-style apartment living, has a unique connection to Clothier Baseball Field. The ballpark's left field wall is built right into the design of New PPR. Large windows in the wall at ground level offer views of the field from first-floor study lounges, as do apartment windows and glass walkways overlooking the field, but the best vantage point is most likely the large terrace at the top of the wall in left center field. The terrace has benches, picnic tables and adirondack chairs, and will be the perfect place to enjoy a game on a warm spring afternoon.
